As our federal, state, and local governments begin to reopen slowly, we want to be prepared for when we can again gather together on Sunday mornings. We believe in following the guidelines laid about by our government leaders that are wise and practical (social distancing, hand washing, face masks). I've also talked with Dr. Drew about how we can do this on the property, and we are making plans and taking steps now to be ready when the time comes. Thankfully we meet outside, which has some significant advantages.
As we continue to wait for the right time to meet together again, please join me in praying for our leaders as they make difficult decisions. It's very easy to be critical, but we, as Jesus's followers, are called to pray for our leaders. We do not have a date yet for when we can meet, but we hope that it will be soon. In the meantime, please join us on Facebook live every Sunday morning at 10:00 or one of our midweek zoom calls.
I'll leave you with a thought to hold on to from pastor Jeremy Treat:
"These are unprecedented times for us. But, the church has endured plagues, wars, poverty, and oppression for generations. We pray Psalms written caves. We preach letters penned in prison. We cling to truths revealed in the wilderness. New circumstances, same God. He's got us."
For His Kingdom,
Brian
